Bilaal ibn Rabah
He was tortured in the cause of Allah, he was the Mu’adhin of Rasulullah. After his death, Bilal called the Adthan once and couldn’t finish due to weeping.

LESSONS FROM SURAH AL-KAHF: ”And say, “The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve.” Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.” [18:29]
SubhanAllah, this ayah gives us a very disturbing a very vivid image of hell fire. It is vivid just in description, imagine the real thing subhanAllah, may Allah protect us. In some places in the Qur’an these ayahs really shake a person, create fear, make us want to never be there. They are used as warnings. Some people when criticizing the Qur’an claim that its all about ‘hell’ and etc but these ayahs serve as warnings. Allah warns us, Allah is trying to protect us, so He gives us warnings. This is a blessing from Allah, Alhamdulillah

Try our best to take it positively, we must.
Because if we don’t, well, it’s going to be a big loss for us. It’s like purposely ‘blinding ourselves’ not to see the very obvious signs that Allah has given us. Some of the signs are just given through ‘people’.
“And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain (two in pairs - may mean two kinds or it may mean: of two varieties, e.g. black and white, sweet and sour, small and big) He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc) for people who reflect.” [Al-Quran, 13:3]
